Your sun sign is just one planet in your star soup. Curious about the rest? Contact me for a natal chart reading.
Happy birthday centaurs!
Scorpio Season is rough and intense every year. Why does the scorpion make us confront our fears? Why does she make us hurt? So that we can let go and open our hands to the flaming amethyst bow of Sagittarius.
Why does Scorpio test our need for power and control? So that we may expand beyond this need and experience greater truths and realities.
Why does Scorpio destroy? So that we may be unencumbered. So that we may rise above to Sagittarian skies. So that we may be more humble, willing, forgiving.
At first we try to think our way through it. This does’t work. Then we feel. And finally we let go.
Weary traveler, turn toward this new horizon – see the fiery rainbow centaur spiraling into view. Change is coming. Trust your gut.
Sagittarius is very different from Scorpio. Not so deep, not so dark. It’s about light and breadth now. Sagittarius is a philosophical, curious kind of creature. The spirituality of Sagittarius is found in the questions we pose, the ethical debates, the seeking, the wondering-wandering.
The mythological kin of Sagittarius are all the large jolly beings who sprinkle our stories with laughter. Sagittarius is a dancing, luminous pegasus. He wants only good times and happiness, late nights, carefree conversation. Sagittarius removes doubt and hesitation and replaces it with confidence, will power, and joy. Sagittarian reality sparkles with ponies, charm, and enthusiasm.
This is what happens after a long and arduous Scorpio Season: we arrive on fire, ready to double down and make up for lost time, just like the transition from Pisces to Aries. We simply cannot wait any longer.
Where can we hold more lightly? Maybe at school or work? In our relationship with family or friends? We can bring Sagittarian lightness, forgiveness, and forward motion to many areas of life, including ourselves.

Nov 22: Quarter Moon in Virgo 🌿
Nov 25: Mercury Retrograde begins ☠️
Nov 27: Sun trine Mars in Leo. Gold star day.
Nov 30: New Moon in Sagittarius 🌑🔥
Dec 4: Sun square Saturn in Pisces + Mercury Rx in Sagittarius opposite Jupiter Rx in Gemini. Tension, exhaustion, anxiety, overwhelm. Change is in order.
Dec 5: Sun conjunct Mercury Rx in Sagittarius. Normally I would say this is a highly productive day but with Mercury Retrograde, we really can’t count on anything going smoothly.
Dec 6: Mars Retrograde begins + Venus enters Aquarius
Dec 7: Sun opposite Jupiter Rx in Gemini + Venus conjunct Pluto in Aquarius + Neptune Retrograde in Pisces ends. Pressure on Jupiter indicates that we need to manage expectations. Not conducive for travel.
Dec 8: Quarter Moon in Pisces 🐠
Dec 15: Full Moon in Gemini + Mercury Retrograde ends ✨
Dec 18: Sun square Neptune in Pisces. Aches, exhaustion, overwhelm. This one is rough on the immune system. Neptune dredges up all the feelings, i.e. inner turmoil. Spend time in solitude.
Dec 21: Winter Solstice / beginning of Capricorn Season ❄️ 3:20am CDT
