With Mars in Taurus since June 8, we are reconnecting with our bodies & our gut; taking better care of ourselves; and discovering what we need in order to feel at home. Mars in Taurus is peaceful and soothing. We’re practicing patience, determination, abundance, and stability. We are motivated to feel good and to have a good life. Mars will continue to moil in Taurus for a couple more weeks until all of our energy has been properly channeled. Then we will be totally grounded…right??

Next up, Mars spins high in the sky with airy Gemini. Visualize fluffy seeds in the wind, or a singer in a sky blue dress, strumming her guitar beneath the sun, voice arcing to meet the clouds. Mars in an air sign brings lots of change, movement, travel, and social connectivity. We will more feel spontaneous, curious, and extroverted.

In Gemini, Mars is motivated by a deep need for mental and social stimulation. Vacations, puzzles, games, new books, pen pals, gardening, spending time with birds, cloud gazing – all recommended. The pace of everyday life picks up considerably with Mars in Gemini. There will be no shortage of things to do. Actually we will really need to make an effort to slow down. Gemini is always racing ahead. This is the perfect time to start practicing mindfulness and focusing on one thing at a time. Mars in Gemini will also shine a major spotlight on communication, as well as the way in which we use our time and energy.

July 21 (v fucking busy): Full Moon in Capricorn #2 + Mercury in Leo square Uranus in Taurus + Sun in Cancer trine Neptune Retrograde in Pisces + Mars trine Pluto Retrograde in Aquarius. Creative & emotional flow; relief from pain. High vibes; very productive; feeling proud & accomplished.

July 22: Leo Season begins 🦁

Aug 4: New Moon in Leo + Venus enters Virgo + Mercury Retrograde begins ☠️

Aug 14: Mars conjunct Jupiter in Gemini + Mercury Retrograde backtracks to Leo. Recuperating physical & sexual energy. Healing vibes.

Aug 15: Mars square Saturn Retrograde in Pisces. Things seem to be going well on the surface but we need to take a closer look. This is a divine opportunity to zoom out, recognize the longterm consequences of our current reality, and correct course. This one is tricky.

Aug 22: Virgo Season begins + Mars square Venus in Virgo. This one is rough on the body. We really really need to boost our immune system before this hits. Anxiety will also need to be managed. Get lots of rest and take care of yourself.

Aug 28: Mercury Retrograde ends! ✨

Sep 2: New Moon in Virgo + Mars squares Neptune Rx in Pisces. Our health may not be optimal at this time but best case scenario we can release some anger and work through emotional weirdness. Catharsis and deep rest.
