Omg I’m loving Mars in Virgo. My head and body feel so clear. I’m eating again. Mars in Virgo is motivating, productive, and nourishing. We’ve been thinking, analyzing, strategizing, but also taking care of ourselves. And maybe also running from powerful anxiety about work and health. But even with the anxiety, this transit has been amazing for mind and body. Earthy Virgo is rational, practical, objective. Mars in Virgo keeps us busy, in constant motion. We seek balance between work/school/perfectionism and health/wellness/food/exercise. External mirrors internal. Chaos in the environment directly translates to chaos in the body, so we are updating our living & working spaces too.
With Mars soon entering Libra, we turn our attention to interpersonal relationships, communication, and community. Libra is the zodiac’s resident counselor and soothsayer. Mars in Libra asks us to be diplomatic and generous, but we must also be fierce. We must follow our intuition above all else. If you sense dysfunction, step back. Peace, balance, and harmony must be valued and cultivated by all involved. Trust must be earned.
All relationships will be tested. Success with friends and lovers will not come easily. It is important to reflect before acting; practice the art of careful consideration.
Are you in a relationship? Did you recently move to a new place? Do you live in a community? And how’s that going?
Libra is a great place for Mars to be. This transit ultimately brings balance to our relationships and therefore to ourselves. External relationships are a mirror for who and where we are in life. There will be lots of awkwardness to work through, including ethical dilemmas. Mars will not visit Libra again for another two years so take advantage of this potent time to work on your communication and community-building.

Aug 8: Mars trine Uranus in Gemini + Mars opposite Saturn Retrograde in Aries. Expect the unexpected; Uranus ALWAYS has surprises. We will need to stay alert and be ready to correct course at a moment’s notice. Potentially a very tricky day; tread lightly.
Aug 9: Full Moon in Aquarius + Mars opposite Neptune Retrograde in Aries. Omg y’all it’s going to be a rough weekend with emotional weirdness. Once again: expect the unexpected. Have a backup plan for your backup plan. Take really good care of your health (pressure on Neptune suppresses the immune system) and avoid alcohol.
Aug 10: Mars trine Pluto Retrograde in Aquarius. Creative & emotional flow; relief from pain. High vibes; productive; feeling proud & accomplished.
Aug 11: Mercury Retrograde ends
Aug 22: Virgo Season begins 🍀
Sep 4: Mars square Jupiter in Cancer. Pressure on Jupiter causes us to feel unlucky, frustrated, and overwhelmed. Pain & injury in the body common. Self-care is in order.
Sep 5: Uranus Retrograde in Gemini begins 👽
Sep 22 (last day of transit): Fall Equinox / 1st day of Libra Season 🍂
