With Mercury in Aquarius since early February, the mind has been inundated with creative, expansive energy. Aquarian energy in the skies increases confidence and honesty. Aquarius also delivers what is most unexpected. For this reason Aquarius Season tends to be rough. We are learning the value of healthy detachment. At the same time we are remembering the importance of connecting with friends & community. We are learning to balance scientific, analytical thinking with intuition.

Let that intuition flow now. When Mercury swims in  Pisces’ emotion-ocean, it is time to address all that has happened – all that has been internalized – over the last astrological year.

Pisces is all about love, creativity, and imagination. Pisces Season is like one gigantic swirling whirlpool of emotion. How to capture your thoughts/feelings/memories? Which creative medium suits you?

Pisces people have a contentious relationship to self-care. Pisces gives until nothing remains, not even stores of energy meant for herself. This leaves the fishes feeling chronically depleted.

The fishes are sage, ancient, glacial in pace. In Native American astrology, Pisces belongs to the Frog clan. She is also associated with turquoise and all shades of blue and green.

Pisces is a scattered influence. Life, as now, will continue to flow in mysterious directions. Meditate on the little frog, hibernating at the bottom of the pond, waiting patiently for spring to come. Meditate on the myriad hues of the ocean. Drops of lapis bead on your skin, gather around your third eye, trickle down to your toes.

Let the waves wash everything away, leaving empty space for the flames of spring. Envision your neural pathways refreshed, adorned with jewels and coral.

Feb 28: Triple conjunction between Sun, Mercury, & Saturn in Pisces. Highly emotional and cathartic. The vibe is all things ending, finishing, wrapping up. It’s time to move on! Do it or the cosmos will push you out.
