Last quarter moons are turning points or crossroads. This phase prepares us for the New Moon in Aquarius on Jan 21 – the first moon phase of 2023!

Both Libra and Capricorn belong to the cardinal modality. Cardinal energy in the sky is a call to action. Cardinal moon phases signal it’s time to sort something out, especially in the intersection of personal and public life. Libra gives us voice and tact; Capricorn gives us drive and endurance.

Libra the Deliberator guides us through interpersonal trials and tribulations. Then we have Capricorn, struggling under enormous cosmic pressure. When Libra and Capricorn come together, they ask us to clarify communication and best practices. This moon phase is a great time to think deeply about how we want to structure 2023.
