This new moon falls in earth sign Taurus, arriving halfway through lovely Taurus Season.

I missed this post! And last week’s Quarter Moon in Aquarius! But I am back now, ready to share more cosmic updates with my dear readers. And we’re going to see round 2 of the Aquarius quarter moon at the end of Taurus Season, so stay tuned for that post.

Earth sign Taurus is a dwelling deep in the woods, surrounded by towering, feathery ferns and brilliant fruits. The air is humid, drenched in birdsong; cactus grow into the sky. This is the home of the sacred cow. Taurus nurtures, nests, and feeds. She is the great cosmic goddess of greenery, tending to all life on earth.

Aries season asked us to sketch an outline for the coming year. Ready or not, we have chosen a direction, a faint trail to follow. The New Moon in Taurus is here to build on that foundation. Taurus represents all that is solid and dependable.

How’s the ground beneath your feet?

Fears rooted in the lack/scarcity mindset will be triggered by this new moon. Taurus is about value and quality of life. What makes you feel rich, but not in a material sense? It’s true that finance is central to the archetype of Taurus, but we need to look more at expenditures of time and energy. How can we be wiser with energetic investments?

Other questions to meditate on: are you feeling secure in your home space / domestic life? Are your basic needs taken care of? Are you attracting abundance or scarcity with your thought patterns?

This new moon also brings attention to food and nutrition. It’s time to reflect on our diet and body clock. Are you giving your body what it needs? Listen to internal rhythms. Strike a balance between movement and stillness, work and relaxation.

New moons can make us feel tired, and this is especially true with Taurus. Spend the day outside, surrounded by plants. Most of all, take realllyyy good care of yourself <3
