The Waning Last Quarter Moon rises at midnight, peaks at dawn, and sets at noon all over the world. At this station, the earthy moon in Taurus squares the colorful Leo sun. This is already the last moon phase of Leo Season 2025.

Last quarter moons are turning points or crossroads, clearing the way for the new moon / new lunar cycle. This phase prepares us for the New Moon in Virgo on Aug 23 (one day after Virgo Season begins).

Taurus is a sensual, lustful creature, not unlike Leo. She loves to eat well and lounge around. But she also needs things to be a certain way, especially in her own home space. At this moon phase we’re taking a look at what makes us feel secure on a material (Taurus) and creative/emotional (Leo) level.

Leo and Taurus both deeply appreciate comfort and luxury, but it really comes down to quality and value. Taste matters. Aesthetic matters.

The key: understanding the connection between desire and the outcome of obtaining said desire. What is it that we really need? The question is not what we want but how we feel once we get what we want? Whatever your vice, it’s up for review.

Great news: this is the first moon phase post Mercury Retrograde so things should be feeling better + the moon herself is in harmonious relation to Venus in Cancer, signifying ease and balance on the social front.
