Sun and Moon oppose one another in Aries and Libra: the axis of self (Aries) vs others (Libra). This is the last moon phase of Aries Season 2025. The April full moon is known as the Full Pink Moon, because, according to The Farmer’s Almanac, it “heralds the appearance of the moss pink, or wild ground phlox—one of the first spring flowers. It is also known as the Sprouting Grass Moon, the Egg Moon, and the Fish Moon.” The full moon rises at sunset, peaks at midnight, and sets at sunrise, no matter where you are.

The Full Moon in Libra asks whether we are meeting the needs of all, most importantly ourselves. Do we feel real intimacy with ourselves? And what do our relationships (and their challenges) say about our relationship to self? Each relationship reveals who we are and where we are in life.

Great news: this full moon falls one week post-Mercury Retrograde so things should already be feeling a lot more copacetic. But more exciting yet, this full moon coincides with the last day of Venus Retrograde which means that all of the clouds are about to clear in our interpersonal lives. Things have been so complicated and difficult on the social front during Venus Retrograde. Venus, ruler of Libra, has been conducting an unforgiving review of all relationships. The full moon herself trines Jupiter in Gemini but squares Mars in Cancer. This indicates that a positive attitude (the power of Jupiter) should suffice as a tonic for any bursts of anger that may arise (Mars’ influence).
