With Venus in earth sign Virgo for the month of August, we’re grounding down. Virgo reintroduces stability & routine. Her love language is practicality and loyalty. During this transit, we can show our love by being present and taking care of the little things. What we’re working on: increasing clarity and reducing distraction; showing up for ourselves; choosing healthy change over chaos; managing anxiety; eating & sleeping well.

Venus shines a spotlight on human connection and relationships, even more so when she returns to her home constellation of Libra. This is one of the most revealing transits of the year. Venus in Libra looks at patterns of communication and codependence and asks how our relationships reflect who we are as individuals. Where can we tighten up boundaries? Do our relationships feel healthy and mutually respectful? The messages is clear: sometimes the best course of action is to let everything go and move on.

Venus in Libra nourishes our basic need for community, communication, partnership, love, family, and friendship. Libra listens and offers great advice. The challenge here is to be assertive and direct when the time comes to act, as well as being able to validate ourselves. This is deep work; we’re in it together. We can be alone…together. haha.

There are two main types of Libras, as far as I can tell. One is decidedly left-brained with zero interest in topics like astrology, spirituality, or emotions. These Libras are drawn to symmetry, math, science, and psychology. The other type of Libra is romantic, indulgent, and often timid. This is the true Venusian expression of Libra. Divine feminine Libra loves with utmost passion and abandon. To her, personal relationships are the underpinning of life itself.

By examining our relationships we face ourselves, again! Efforts to evade or deceive Libra will prove futile. Remember: confrontation is definitely awkward and stressful but internalizing is ultimately more uncomfortable.

Remain clear and open in communication, with both yourself and others. If you don’t honor your needs and ditch the toxicity, Libra will do it for you, and she can be quite forceful. If the situation calls for it, walk away with your head held high; the goddess is right behind you.

Sep 22 (last day of transit): Sun in Virgo trine Pluto Rx in Capricorn + Fall Equinox / 1st day of Libra Season + Venus square Pluto Rx. Major change point. Pluto’s influence is sexy & empowering. We feel strong; capable; high energy; productive. It is also true that with Pluto involved, complex karmic destines are hatching and we will not learn the details until much later. Intense on the body.
